Rated   Been to so called TOS recently and I must say authenticity at its best! As the name goes I couldn't find anything INDIANIZED in the menu and a big cheers for that! THE FOOD: tried wide range of varieties.. TOS SPECIAL and LAMB CHOPS are a must try as the meat was so well cooked and flavors perfectly balanced. Chicken souvlaki kebab was a refreshing origano and lemon flavored. Shawarma wraps are served in khabooz/pita and thankfully not in Romali roti ! Also there is the option of customization of the wrap which is great! Tried the lamb shawarma and was very juicy and lamb tender. The in house garlic and hummus sauces give the wrap the authenticity I guess! Also tried the minced lamb with saffron rice which I thought was delicious but quite spicy to me.. But will definitely fulfill the cravings of a spicy palate. Ambience: Finally a place to chill out and relax ! More a modern cafe like interiors and rustic thatched huts outdoors makes this place a cosy outlet to hangout with friends. They do have a projector and screen outside ! A special mention to the plating of the dishes!..u guys nailed it! Learnt that they are going to introduce kibbeh, sambousek and also bacon...eagerly waiting for those!....

Ambience is first thing we noticed which was warm and pleasant. Neatly done interiors with indoor and out door seating. The restaurant sign near the counter looks great. Good job guys.. Once seated waiters addressed us promptly and suggested us some house specials, we tried the platter first to get the taste of lamb, chicken and falafel. Order came in a decent time around 20 minutes. Lamb chops and lamb kofta were amazing. Chops were juicy and the taste amazed us. Shawarma had some authentic sauces very different from the regular mayo shawarmas which we get on the road side. Deserts had Chocobrownie but something different was baklava and caramel custard. Wanted to order baklava to know exactly what it is, lucky me first day it was complimentary so ordered the custard. Custard was soft creamy topped with caramel sauce. First time tried it and loved it. Overall very satisfied with the food, awaiting to visit again to try the dinner plates.

The original shawarma is a great middle eastern cuisine that had authentic Mediterranean food which is probably the best I ever had in India. Ambience and the overall service quality had been top notch. Really impressed with this place and will visit it very frequently moving forward.

Ambience is supercool.. The space is divided into open and closed area. People can have a hukka in the open area and watch a movie on the projector screen.. Service is impeccable.. They are courteous. Menu variety- gr8 The taste is good too... I tried the chicken schwarma, it's delicious, it's heavy, one is enough.. Loved the place.. Certainly will be visited again

First time experience at this place and I rate it 4.5.  I tried three Falafel shawarma , chicken shawarma, chicken souvlaki wrap and mutton chops. The meat was tender, smoky and retained its juiciness. The blend of spices was just perfect and the flavor of the food lingered for a long time. The ambience is very cool and for evenings this place has a wonderful arrangement for outside seating.Very delectable experience will definitely visit again!

This place has probably best Shawarma in Hyderabad. I had ordered chicken shawarma which was simply divine. Best part is that the Restaurant is listed on ReadyMyOrder. Using ReadyMyOrder App i had placed the order on the go 20 mins before reaching the restaurant, was served within 5 mins.

This is a place which all Shawarma lovers will love. The seating is decent and ambience is also awesome. Prefer to sit outdoor. They have a good variety of shwarama rolls and other combo meals. I order humus with pita bread, half and half shawarma roll and chicken shawarma meal. All the three items were upto the mark and perfect for me. They are serving HOOKAH also. And that to of good quality. Everuthing about this place is just amazing. Though small but a decent and amazing. A must visit place. Will surely visit it again and again when craving for shawarma rises again. Thumbs up (y)

Rated   TOS is the sweet and short name for this place. A lovely hangout joint for all those people near Kondapur. I have been here multiple times since its opening. Menu is a real refresh from the typical list of Hyderabad restaurants. Mutton chops was really good, even though some pieces had loads of fat. Try out the variety of teas available. Irani chai with malai is the suggested one. I tried Pudina tea and it was quite refreshing. They offer a plate of biscuits for free. Lamb Shawarma is another item that will make you feel good with those tender mutton pieces and vegetables. For lunch, you can try chicken shawarma over flavored rice. Another item I tried was the Mixed Grill Dinner. Lots of meat to satisfy your meat cravings along with salad, flavored rice and sauces. Ambience is decent and friendly staff. They have an air-conditioned section as well as relaxed outdoor section like hay huts. Heard that they are planning to have a big screen projection in the outdoor section. Overall a nice place to relax and try out some Lebanese food.

If you wanna have a relaxed evening out then this is what you are looking for, set in an indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements TOS has brought something different to Kondapur. Ordered the lamb Shawarma and was pleasently surprised with the juicy notes of the lamb meat, the sauces were authentic and different from the normal road side Shawarmas. Also tried the Irani tea which i never had before very creamy and tasty loved it. The overall experience was great. Keep it up guys and keep the quality.

The best original shawarma in town. Very nice ambiance and excellent service. The lamb shawarma and TOS special are the best dishes here. This store opened a week ago and this is my 5th visit to the store. I'm just addicted to the food here. Most of you all wouldn't even think about ordering the Irani chai with suban biscuits but it's worth having. It reminds me of the Irani chai I had at shadab. Highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is definitely a wonderful option to consider if you're looking to satisfy your hankerings for some good Lebanese food. Friendly and good service. Really top notch food. Subtle seasoning, good ingredients, cooked by people who know what they are doing, beautifully presented. What more could you want? Ordered for the Lamb Chops first and it was amazing. I'm not a huge fan of lamb, but the way they cooked it was perfection. Tender and so flavorful, without that gamey taste that you would usually find with lamb. Then we ordered for the Chicken Shawarma which is definitely my personal favourite. So delicious! The menu has plenty of options but isn't overwhelming. The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the prices were great. Not to mention, hot and fresh pita comes out to accompany your dishes! :)  Definitely looking forward to another visit.

Been here today guess its good to have a dinner here..lamb pocket is pretty well and chicken shawarma was good too but kinda far from my place

    Rishabh Arora

Went there for dinner to try out the lebanese cuisine. Tried the pita triangles, which were good. For main course, I had a falafel shawarma, accompanies by garlic sauce, which again was delicious. Finally for deserts tried the caramel custard and baklava. Liked the custard more than the baklava.

This is a gem I must say, never seen anyone in Hyderabad use olives in a shawarma. Had the falafel pockets, souvlaki wrap and chicken shawarma. Was indeed surprised to see them offer a choice of sauces for the shawarma. If you have travelled in the Mediterranean and want something that's close to the food you get there, this is the place.

Really nice place. Good ambience. Very courteous staff. I absolutely loved the food. The shawarma was really really good. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

We made an unplanned stop here on a cloudy Thursday night for dinner. At around 9:15pm the place was pretty empty and although the place is very small, there was a valet who promptly took away the hassle of finding a parking spot. We ordered a chicken shawarma dinner for each person. Turns out that's a lot more good than we anticipated! The shawarma was very juicy and soft. The rice was very good and they had 3 types of dips/sauces as well. We faced slight miscommunication issues with one of the waiters but the manager was very prompt in clarifying everything. Overall a decent ambience, good food and value for money. Also their take home bags are so good! Tip: if ordering for 2 then one shawarma and one shawarma dinner is more than sufficient.

This place is on my wish list ever since this got opened.I've been here some where around 4 in the evening and it was so hot so we decided to sit inside. I personally liked the concept of huts. Coming to food we ordered French fries and chicken sowloki wrap. Fries are yum with proper sprinkle of chilli flakes. Chicken wrap comes with olives and some sauce I don't remember that name. This wrap is similar to shawarma sandwich I had at Abu Dhabi. I didn't like the sauce served with the wrap. Coming to wrap, it's perfectly wrapped with soft wrap and proper stuffing in that, chicken is perfectly cooked and then grilled with sour sauce and proper spice levels. Over all enjoyed the wrap. Bill for two wraps and fries : 400

This is one of the few places in Hyderabad that is trying to be different than the regular fanfare of Biryani. To start off a big thumbs up for that. Ambience is nice and cosy for a sit out in the evenings. We ordered Lamb Chops, Lamb Shawarma and Chicken Shawarma. The Shawarma were meaty. Lamb Shawarma is very nice, something I am going to repeat next time I'm here. Lamb chops though a bit less in quantity were unique and yum. Service was prompt.

The newly opened just last week , since near to my home was waiting for my turn to visit. On Sunday went there for take away. The inside ambience was good, felt the outside was dark would be difficult to sit with mosquito bites , it is more cafe look inside , difficult for seating for small kids. Food I ordered was lamb chops excellent taste and must eat. I ordered chicken shawarma , lamb shawarma and chicken soulavki . I liked the taste of all, the food was lite. In dessert I ordered baklava which was good in taste Food 4/5 Ambience 3.5/5 Service 4/5 Quality 4/5

Rated   July, 2015 Yet another promising food joint in the Kondapur area, which makes things very interesting. The Original Shawarma has a very fresh look, and I have been eyeing it for quite some time now, ever since it had put the 'Coming Soon' banner outside its outlet. Three days into its inauguration, I showed up with a friend and the overall experience was rather delightful. The decor is quite decent, service prompt and food outstanding. There's lot of interesting stuffs in the menu - and we tried out the chicken and lamb shawarmas, chicken souvlaki, baklava and special Irani Chai. I was specially impressed with the lamb shawarma - one of the very few places where you get the distinct taste of lamb meat! Also liked the way the store manager came up to check if we had any feedback to offer. Hope this place maintains the zeal to deliver better! Would surely re-visit! Update: Aug, 2015 Tried out the lamb kofta kebab wrap, which probably is the best out the wrap/shawarma options out here! Highly recommended.

Rated   (Food Category - Veg / Non-Veg, Status - Halal) A new entrant in the already saturated market of Arabic food and they do manage to hold their own Opened in Kondapur today I had to try out their offerings as I love Arabic food. This was quite a lengthy drive for me as it was on the other end of kondapur which I didn't check on. Once you step in, the decor and ambiance is nice. Lights in glass bottles is a different kinda design and overall the look and feel is apt for this kinda joint. Placed our order of Lebanese platter which has 5 items from the menu combined which were Falafel, Chicken souvlaki, Lamb kofta kebab, TOS special, Lamb chops. We were informed that it will take 20 minutes for this so we ordered Chicken pocket which has chicken pieces in half a pita bread with olives ,hummus and garlic sauce. It was decent. Our order of lebanese platter arrived and it was worth the wait. Every item was delicious. Falafel was okay, perhaps the only average dish in the entire platter Chicken Souvlaki - Pieces of tender chicken nicely marinated with oregano, olive oil & lemon. Had a tangy flavor and perhaps the most flavorful of all . TOS special- ground mutton with spices - Very similar to Shaami which is commonly prepared in lot of muslim households. Lamb kofta kebab - typical sheek kebab style dish with very less spices Lamb chops - Was skeptical about how they might be as they appeared to be hard and chewy but it turned out to be nice and well made. Juicy mutton on the bone was very tasty. We still wanted to try a little more so we went ahead and ordered Chicken Souvlaki wrap which was amazing. For desserts we ordered caramel custard which was amazing and we had to order for one more. All customers were getting a piece of baklava as a complimentary item. We tried it and it was okay, it should have been more sweeter with little more dry fruits . Overall : A nice place to satisfy your craving of Arabic food

This is a newly opened restaurant in kondapur and at a walking distance from my house. I have tried Chicken shawarma and chicken souvlaki wrap. Both were pretty good in taste. You have option to choose the filling in your shawarma. Next time when I visited here, I had chicken shawarma only filled with chicken pieces and sauces and I liked it better than the typical Chicken shawarma.

Rated   Have been eyeing this place for a while and finally happen to visit on one of the weekends! Located right on the road, this place is easy to locate. The look from the outside is a complete contrast from the interiors and you will be nicely surprised. Just inside the main entrance, they have outdoor seating arrangement with thatched roof coverings, projector with matches playing and gravel floor. We were taken by surprise by the crowd as well. Interior sitting area also looked properly lit up and decorated but since it was raining and the weather was good we chose to sit outside. Coming to the food, we ordered our routine chicken shawarma and lebanese platter. Platter was good with nicely cooked kebabs and chops but found it little pricey. With the rains, tea was inevitable hence ordered Irani tea which was sufficient for two.  So here's the score card: Ambiance: 5/5: nice place to hangout in a good weather day Service: 3/5: little sloppy but manageable Food: 4/5: if you are a fan of Lebanese food , this place deserves a shot! Plus you can have hookah as well :P Overall: 4/5

The Original Shawarma is a perfect place for a late evening visit. I wanted to visit this place since it opened and grabbed the first opportunity to do so. I had shawarma in pita bread for the first time and it was better than any shawarma I’ve had. Minced chicken with rice was even better. Spicy as the chicken was, the combination with rice cooked in chicken broth rather than water made them melt in the mouth. As for the place, it offers some very nice interior designs. The ambience the artwork gives to the place is soothing and apt for quiet conversations. Outside seating is wonderful too. The only drawback with outside seating being the traffic noise, as it is located on the main road. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

This is the third time in two weeks that we are eating from this place. First time we ordered lamb shawarma and a dinner combo of chicken souvlaki et all for home delivery. Impressed with the taste coupled with the fact that desserts and pita pockets are not delivered we decided to dine in as it is close by. Nice ambience...pita pockets were yummy and caramel custard just right. Writing this review while we wait for dinner. Please be consistent!

A great ambience. a good place to chillout with family. The outdoor venue they have is quite well done. The indoor seating could be better ventilated. You don't want the smells from the open kitchen to saturate you before you order your meal. Food was good...although I'd say I've had better shawarma's and falafel's, they've just opened up and has lots of potential. The service was great and they seem open to suggestions.  I'm going back there soon to check them out again on how they have improvised.

Rated   I had been planning to go to The Original Shawarma for a while and last night I did. My first impression was that the place was very clean and hygienic and the seating arrangement was quite nice . There was a separate corner for Hukka which I found very thoughtful as I've often seen non-smokers complain about smoke in places . The waiters were friendly and courteous and showed us to our seats immediately . Most of the tables were occupied, which is just how it should be on a Friday night ! So far , so good . Then came the food . We started off with Pita Bread and Hummus and Falafel . The Pita bread was warm and soft and the hummus had just the right texture . Very yummy . I had a disastrous experience at Pita Stop in March with hard cold and clearly refrigerated Pita Bread and Hummus which upset my curious stomach and made me vow not to try Pita bread anywhere in Hyderabad again ! The Pita bread here was SO GOOD ! We gobbled it up before we could take any pictures :) Then the falafel . It tasted good , but was a little bit too soft for my liking . Falafel balls are supposed to be a little hard (or at least that's what I know from a lot of prior falafel eating ) nevertheless , the taste was awesome and these were again gobbled up before pictures could be taken . For the main course , my husband ordered a Chicken Shawarma , and I ordered what had been called a Low Carb Dinner. The shawarma was again VERY GOOD . The chicken was well cooked , and the sauces were mixed JUST RIGHT . The Low Carb Dinner turned out to be the Shawarma filling on a bed of what was supposed to be Greek Salad . The chicken was good , but I expected to find olives, feta , some cherry tomatoes and more dressing on a Greek Salad. This was sadly missing . But I was willing to forgive that on account of the fantastic chicken ! But here's what won me over . I ordered coffee , and it was served with a cute little teapot and 4 yummy cookies ! Never in my 6 years in Hyderabad have I been served coffee like this :) very very cool ! Overall , I liked this place very much . They can make a few improvements to the food and they should definitely keep up the cleanliness and the good service . I foresee many more yummy dinners here :)

Rated   Interesting place. You only get bottled water. A definite negative. But the food is very customized to the burnt tongues we Indians have with the excess of spices. To cut a long story short, the food tastes amazing, but the sublety of the lebanese cuisine is lost the moment the taste buds encounter the red chilly. Not sure if this is a Hyderabad bias. The place is very comfortable in the evening with the cane furniture, but the insides lack good air conditioning and get reaaaaallly hot. The resto seems schezophrenic. On the one hand, a pot of Irani chai(good-not great) costs about a 100 bucks, yet the eats are great value for money. Interested to see how the next couple of years go for this place. Would definitely recommend for short eats. Though probably not for beverages( only an extrapolation; try and decide). The service is very polite, but the engine still needs to set in. But the essential ingredients are present. Lastly, would certainly not call the cuisine lebanese. Vfm-4/5 Ambiance-3.5/5 Service-4.5/5 Food-4/5

The place offers authentic schwarma which is rare to find in Hyderabad. It is served with good Hummus that adds on to the taste. Although they have indianized the hummus by sprinkling red chilli powder but its still worth having. This place offers more than the good food as it is a nice hangout place and given Hukkah complements the ambience. I have has Chihcken Schwarma, lamb schwarma, falafel, Pita bread with hummus and Chicken Soulvaki wrap and i cannot complaint about a single dish. Its a good establishment and it has potential. One think they can add in their offering is Garlic sauce. I have had Schwarma with Garlic sauce and its a delight.

My Review is based out of "Take away".  Couple of days back My Friend got some Shawarmas and Pita with Hummus.  I dont know if it was original Shawarma or Dupicalte one, But tasted really amazing, and Both of us ended up finishing 6 Shawarma. Pita with hummus is not upto the mark. I found Hummus little off. But Its okie. Everyone has different Taste. And on that note I would recommend this place for Their Shawarmas.  Must try place.

Rated   We visited this place over a weekend with a group of friends. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. Since we had a couple of soccer fans in our group, we decided to sit outside as they were screening a live soccer match on their huge screen. The outdoor seating has a very shack like feel with 6-7 tables. The tables were small and we hardly had any space left once four of us kept our mobiles and wallets on the table. We gave this feedback to the staff and they were pretty responsive and provided us with an additional chair to keep our belongings. The Falafel and Pita bread was pretty decent, however the non-vegetarians in the group complained that Chicken Souvlaki was a little overcooked. For main course we ordered Falafel shawarma, chicken Shawarma and Falafel shawarma meal. The Shawarma’s very amazing and the rice had amazing fragrance. It was served with three different types of dips. For drinks there weren’t many options, we ordered Lime soda. Overall, a decent experience and great value for money!

Rated   I really craved for some good Lebanese wraps in Hyderabad when I moved here from Bombay about 6 months back and I must say this place is going to be my go-to place for it! We were a bit late (10:45 is late in Hyderabad... Shocking but true!! ;) ) to try the hummus since they ran out of it by then.. We still decided to stick along and tried the falafel shawarma wrap and the Lebanese mushroom wrap.. The mushroom wrap was delicious.. Loaded with mushroom, greens and hot sauce.. It is one thing that I'd keep going back for.. I would have preferred the falafel in the second wrap to be crispier but nevertheless, that was quite good as well. He got the fries next.. Although I don't get their logic of serving starters after the wraps.. But they were the best fries I've eaten in a while.. Super crunchy, coated in a special spice mix and served with a hot sauce.. At Rs. 60.. they are a steal.. Overall, this place serves good food that's unique and value for money. I would definitely go back to try their hummus.

The BEST (or should I say REAL) Shawarma I ever had in India! What a combination of ingredients, tender and juicy meat, and the spices. Based on other user comments, I am sure there are equally good places in Hyd as this one and I am yet to try them out, but this one sure will be on my top list. Reasons I am not giving 4.5 stars: 1. Because I want to try out the complete menu and not want my review based just on Shawarma, although only the Shawarma can be a sufficient reason ;-) 2. MOST importantly, the only negative point is that even though they are situated just 4 kms away from my place (Botanical Garden Road area), they do not deliver here and I have to order through Swiggy. I don't think 4 kms is that big of a distance, and they should really give a serious thought about starting the delivery in this area.

Had I not have Shawarma from here, I couldn't have known how good a Shawarma Roll can be! Lamb Shawarma, Chicken Shawarma: each one is better than the other. :-) Loved the place.

Good place.... OK ambience but I liked food ..went twice for dinner- they have indoor as well as outdoor sitting, i chose indoor both the times it was cozy. food part- tried lamb/chicken wrapes, and meal combos with which you'll find some hummus, green chutney, and mayo i guess in a very limited quantity so just is case uyou finish all, be ready to pay extra for more chutneys... :)

The best place for Shawarmas in Hyderabad. Neat, clean and good variety of options, including deserts. Time take to serve is about 10-15 mins, but I didn't mind that since they start cooking only once the order is placed.
